Thank you Peter, you are absolutely right and have great insight in interpreting official documents and the law; after all, you are the son of a land that has been a beacon of civilization for millennia. Nevertheless, we all must be Machiavellian in interpreting the words that States and international institutions use to throw dust in people's eyes and deceive the subdued Peoples while they trick them.
The land of the Sami and lappi in Finland is called Lapland.
The gold resources are huge, and that is why they are blocking the mining companies from mining there.
Any Finnish national can anyhow go there and look for gold, as in Finland all forests are open to hikers, “even those which stand on private property”.
Finland is a disgusting and racist name given to it by the Swedish, the name of the country is Suomi.
Before than it was called “Vinland” as in the land of the D-vin or divine, “hyperborea” or the land of the Nordic Gods.
Fin land, which once again derives from modern Swedish means pimple land.
Also Finn, as in a “Finnish person” means pimple.
Also fins are not the real indigenous people of te land, they at large a mix of German and Swiss caucasians , and have been coming to the land when they were sent by pope Leo the IX in 1050.
They burned every tree in Odenma “ring land n the south” and forbid people from inhabit it for 200 years “1250”
Since then the fins have tried to eliminate the Sami and Lappi and outcast them to the north.
They also tried to exterminate them all during World War II with the help of hitler.
Exactly. I have been meaning to write about the ability to twist words as the basis of the "forked tongue" phenomenon... Supposedly written language assures 'continuity of meaning' — especially as compared to oral languages; but the treaties and laws and precedents prove otherwise.
Must be in the air! 6/25 i started an essay about "forked tongue" but didn't get far, and instead now working on one about "empire". Fwiw i'll share some of what had started essay notes with: As with many who watched old movies with cowboys and indians, i remember hearing "white man speak with forked tongue". Little did i know at the time how deep and insidious that statement was. Nowadays i interpret that as, saying one thing and meaning another; sometimes this is deliberate, a conscious effort at obfuscation, and sometimes it is the unconscious result of programming. One example is the phrase, 'we're not out of the woods yet', which indicates the woods as a problem when actually it was getting out of the woods that started the problem. Also the word "bewilder" is "to confuse" but actually i prefer to 'be wilder'. Maybe those examples are reversals rather than forked, but anyway feel free to use any of that.
Thanks for clarifying the fine print, Peter, and showing the potential for change. And fwiw: "details" reminded of from the Tao Te Ching (Thou Dei Jinn),
Undertake difficult tasks
by appreciating what is easy about them.
Do great deeds
by focusing on their little details.
All difficulties under heaven arise from what is simple;
all great things under heaven depend upon little details.

"But what do we need a dictionary for when the government can redefine words at will?" aka
"speaks with forked tongue".

PS one of my fave quirky words "tine", a prong of a fork.

therefore they can achieve greatness.
great! ... which translation is this? ... it's very good...
