Certainly worth a read, or two, as there is a lot packed into this slender page count book. Highly informative, succinct and makes you think. Takes a huge topic and makes it accessible.

Newcomb's analysis of the papal bulls back in the 15th and 16the centuries plus the various guiding metaphors in them (such as 'Pagans in the Promised Land') shows that the judiciary in the republic of liberty foundedn 1776 had no qualms reviving or legalizing left-overs of a previous 'great reset' (aka 'age of discovery') to limit liberties of first nations. Maybe all Great Resets in the cours of history boil down to systems of domination and dehumanization (and ultimately genocide) under various guises.
